SP9 will take place in the School of Industrial Engineering (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales, ETSII) of the Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, UPM), located in one of the the main arteries of Madrid, Paseo de la Castellana, in an emblematic building called Palace of Industry and Arts.
With 4,500 students, 300 professors, 790 researchers in R&D projects and exchange agreements with more than 140 universities around the world, ETSII is the leading Spanish Industrial Engineering School by experience, demand for admissions, innovation and international projection. Established in 1845, it has been located in the current building since 1907.
